City Assays - Vitamin D Testing

City Assays is based at the Pathology Department of Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.

They have run a fat soluble Vitamin laboratory for over 30 years and have state of the art equipment for the determination of Vitamin D. Their blood spot method was in development for over a year before coming into service. The research emphasis has been on blood spot results being aligned to the more conventional serum results and increasing the assay's sensitivity enabling us to measure levels in a blood spot disc.

The pack includes full and clear instructions and is CE marked. They provide a reply paid envelope as part of the pack.
